POS
Bill in-store and keep inventory in sync with your Softpage online store using one POS for retail in India.
A shop in India rarely sells only online. The counter still takes most of the cash for kirana, apparel, electronics, and many D2C pickup orders. If the billing screen and the website keep different stock numbers, you oversell, or you hide inventory “just in case”. Softpage POS is billing for that reality: the same catalogue as your online store, used at the counter.
POS here means point of sale — scan or search an item, take payment, print or share a bill, and decrement stock. It is not a separate product with its own login and its own SKU list. That difference matters when a walk-in customer buys the last unit that was also visible on the website five minutes ago.
Indian retail also mixes UPI intents, cards, and cash on the same shift. Payments on Softpage are part of the commerce stack so the bill and the settlement story are not two different apps. See payments for checkout context.
Standalone billing software is fine if you never sell online. The moment you add a website, Instagram checkout, or QR menu, you now have two inventories. Staff invent workarounds: they mark items “out of stock” on the site, or they ignore the site during festival weeks. An omnichannel POS is the unglamorous fix — one product list, two (or more) places to sell it.
Softpage is built for that mix rather than for a single supermarket chain with a custom ERP. If you are a growing retailer or a brand with a flagship counter plus a storefront, this is the intended shape.
Use this page if you searched for POS software in India because your current billing tool cannot see website orders, or because your website cannot see counter sales. Do not use it if you only need a GST invoice generator with no catalogue. Softpage is a commerce platform with POS inside it.
